I love early morning sessions! My husband and I have different ideas about what constitutes an early morning, but I say 8 am is pretty early to be out of the house and in a field. Especially for tiny people like little Ruby here. 

Ruby (affectionately known as “Ru”) is a darling 15-month-old with beautiful auburn hair, bright green eyes, and a (recently) toothy grin! She showed up to the session with her parents, looking a little sleepy and also a little unsure of what we were up to. 

“Why are we in a sunflower field? Why is this lady pointing a black box at me? Why are they trying to get me to dance so much? Can I just play with the bugs?”

The requests for dancing did eventually pay off! How? Yep, you guessed it: Baby Shark.

Side note: I try to learn at least one new thing every day. The day of this session, I learned that there are, in fact, many verses to the Baby Shark song. You know, Daddy Shark, Mommy Shark, Grandpa Shark, and Grandma Shark. I had no idea the whole shark family was involved in this song. Who knew? 

This was such a lovely session! Ruby’s parents both got to show her lots of love, and we captured some really special moments.

When she’s older, Ruby will get to look at these photos and see how awesome her parents were when she was just a toddler. She’ll see the absolute infinite love on their faces when they look at her. She’ll be able to see the joy she brings them every day.
