Maybe you’re wondering exactly how a photo session with me works. It’s a pretty simple process that I’ll break down for you here in just 10 steps. I always try to make it as painless as possible for my clients because my goal is for this to be a stress-free process for you! Let’s dive in.

1. You reach out via email or my website form.

   Easy enough, right? Get in touch with me, and let me know what your needs are. I’ll get back to you within 48 business hours with my availability.

2. Get it on the books!

   I can put you on my calendar after receiving your retainer. The retainer locks in your date and time so that no one else can book it.

3. Determine location.

   I will recommend some of my favorite spots. Or if you have a special place in mind, I’m all ears. We can meet at a beautiful outdoor location or at your home.

4. Determine your wardrobe.

   I will send you my best tips and hints for taking the stress out of dressing yourself and/or your family for the session. Want to buy new clothes for the occasion? I can help with that, too. I’ll send some links to retailers that will take your look up a notch.

5. Submit balance of payment.

   The balance of your payment will be due one week out from the photo session.

6. The actual photo session!

   Yes, it’s time for us to meet at the agreed upon time, date, and place. Most photo sessions will last an hour unless we’ve specified otherwise.

7. Photo processing.

   I’ll work on processing your photos, which will take about two weeks.

8. Online photo delivery!

   You’ll have your own private gallery where you can view your photos. You’ll also have a pin code to download your high-resolution files.

9. Choose any add-ons.

   This part is completely optional, but you can choose to:

   1. Print archival prints directly through your gallery.
   2. Purchase an heirloom album of your photos.
   3. Purchase a gallery app to keep on your phone and share with family and friends (basically a digital album). 

10. Et voila!

    If you only want your digital files, you can give yourself a pat on the back. You’re finished! If you ordered an album or photo prints, they will be drop-shipped directly to your door.
